This clip is for the situation where your Samsung is not going into Download Mode by pressing "Volume Down + Home + Power" standard keys combination.

When you try this and it simply turns on the phone, this is no good if you want to flash, root or unlock your Samsung via Download Mode.

So this clip does the work and forces to boot your Samsung phone into Download Mode even if your phone is 3-button combo disabled.

This microUSB head connector has a built-in 300k resistor and its standalone taking the power direct from phone battery. So please note that phone battery must to be fully charged.

1.- Make sure the phone is fully switched off by pulling the battery, waiting 5 minutes, then replacing the charged battery. Do not switch the phone on.
2.- Connect the microUSB JIG to the phone. After a few seconds the phone should go automatically into Download Mode.
3.- Disconnect the JIG and connect a regular USB <-> microUSB cable from your PC to the phone, then you should be able to flash the phone as normal.

NOTE: if your Samsung device has a damaged boot or its dead, this clip will not help you. At this case you need a JTAG Box first such as RIFF JTAG Box to recover or repair the damaged boot.
